About the event
The Museum will sponsor an introductory workshop for watercolor in conjunction with the spectacular Fall Art Show on October 30 from 6 to 8 PM. Beginners most welcome to try their hand at this medium. Bring any material you already have and you can experiment with materials (brushes, paint etc.) which Mrs. Hall will bring. We will focus on color mixing and dramatic changes in values for dramatic effect. If you have been curious about watercolor painting this is for you.
ABOUT MARION HALL, WATERCOLORIST
I paint original watercolors of Manchester, Cape Ann, seascapes, lighthouses, seabirds, beaches, surf, schooners, and a few Florida tropical scenes. My style is a blend of realism and impressionism, with a colorful pallet featuring the unique lighting of Cape Ann.
