Bicentennial
Capital Campaign
Exceeds $200,000 Goal
This important fund-raising campaign, launched just before the start of our Fiscal Year 2024, has exceeded its goal of $200,000. Much was accomplished thanks to the generosity of donors to this campaign.
Capital Campaign funding has enabled the Museum to:
-
offer innovative new programs and exhibits,
-
support the conservation of our Collections and digitization of Archives,
-
restore the original front portico in the house that Abigail Hooper built,
-
add to our Collection, and more.
Thanks to you, past stories of courage, resilience, entrepreneurship, creativity, and community come alive each day at the Museum. Take a look.

Annual Report highlights the generosity of our donors with a list of acknowledgments.

Iconic Entrance Portico Restored
Thanks to your support of the Bicentennial Capital Campaign and a matching grant from the Community Preservation Act, the portico was restored in July 2024.
